Service Canada Representative will provide support for Employment Insurance, Canada Pension Plan (including Disability), Old Age Security, Guaranteed Income Supplement, Canada Child Benefits, Canada Learning Bond, Canada Dental Plan as well as process Social Insurance Numbers on site. Support on Youth, Newcomer and Indigenous Services are also available

A settlement worker will be available for one-on-one consultations regarding settlement issues.

• Settlement services: a range of programs designed to support newcomers, immigrants, and refugees as they transition into a new community
• Counselling services: targeted towards women dealing with domestic violence
• LINC Classes for Newcomers
• Children’s educational programs

An ID worker from Partners for Access and Identification Project will assist individuals with no permanent address to secure identification documents such as:

• Birth Registration,
• Canadian Birth Certificate (wallet size),
• Verification of Status replacements (formerly known as Record of Landing), and
• Ontario Health Card

**Available Wednesdays from 1-3pm in Booth 19. Please check in at the front counter. 

This information session will provide valuable information on the benefits and services available to seniors, including those with low or modest income.  Learn about the Canada Pension Plan, Old Age Security Program, Guaranteed Income Supplement, and the Allowance. We will also provide a review of My Service Canada Account and methods of Fraud prevention.
