• Language and Skills Training
• Community Engagement
• Anti-Human Trafficking Project

An Employment Ontario Employment Specialist will provide information and access to Employment Services.

 This event will provide information on Service Canada's programs and services geared towards Newcomers and how to access them. We will review the Foreign Credentials Referral Program, the Social Insurance Number, Canada Child Benefit, the Benefits Finder, Job Bank. We will also provide a live navigation of the Canada.ca website. 

Overview of Community Legal Services and meet staff from Willowdale, Scarborough and West Scarborough Community Services.

Service Canada Representative will provide support for Employment Insurance, Canada Pension Plan (including Disability), Old Age Security, Guaranteed Income Supplement, Canada Child Benefits, Canada Learning Bond, Canada Dental Plan as well as process Social Insurance Numbers on site. Support on Youth, Newcomer and Indigenous Services are also available

An ID worker from Partners for Access and Identification Project will assist individuals with no permanent address to secure identification documents such as:

• Birth Registration,
• Canadian Birth Certificate (wallet size),
• Verification of Status replacements (formerly known as Record of Landing), and
• Ontario Health Card
