Learn about Access to Housing and the Rent-Geared-to-Income (RGI) subsidized housing waitlist. This information session will cover eligibility requirements, how to start an application, what is needed to maintain your priority status on the waitlist and how the choice-based housing system works. The session will also include a lawyer-led discussion on housing-related issues to help participants better understand their housing rights and available supports. Housing workers from Unison will be able to provide one-on-one appointments following the session for participants who would like to discuss their individual housing needs and explore available options.

Elizabeth Fry Toronto will assess eligibility for and support all eligible clients through the Record Suspension Program. They will cover the cost of the application processing fee and will support clients to successfully submit their application to the Parole Board of Canada.
