Job Search Workshop

An Employment Ontario Employment Specialist will provide information and access to Employment Services.
Service Canada Representative will provide support for Employment Insurance, Canada Pension Plan (including Disability), Old Age Security, Guaranteed Income Supplement, Canada Child Benefits, Canada Learning Bond, Canada Dental Plan as well as process Social Insurance Numbers on site. Support on Youth, Newcomer and Indigenous Services are also available
A settlement worker will be available for one-on-one consultations regarding settlement issues.
- Settlement services: a range of programs designed to support newcomers, immigrants, and refugees as they transition into a new community
- Counselling services: targeted towards women dealing with domestic violence
- LINC Classes for Newcomers
- Children’s educational programs
An identification worker from the Partners for Access and Identification (PAID) Project will assist individuals with no permanent address to secure identification documents such as:
- Birth Registration,
- Canadian Birth Certificate (wallet size),
- Verification of Status replacements (formerly known as Record of Landing), and
- Ontario Health Card.

Investing In Families (IIF) presents a workshop delivered by Parks, Forestry & Recreation and Toronto Public Health staff. Why recreation? General information session that informs parents the benefits of recreation and Toronto Public Health services for families.
