Toronto Employment & Social Services (TESS) West District Confronting Anti-Black Racism Committees is hosting this opportunity for clients and residents of Toronto to gain a wealth of information, knowledge sharing and networking. Culturally relevant agencies to connect with attendees on topics such as housing stability, service and food access, transit equity, social/physical/mental health supports, quality jobs, income, and systemic change.
This workshop provides an overview of the Ontario Works Program administered by Toronto Employment and Social Services. Learn about available employment services including training, financial, medical benefits and social supports provided to strengthen the social and economic well-being of Torontonians.
Service Canada Representative will provide support for Employment Insurance, Canada Pension Plan (including Disability), Old Age Security, Guaranteed Income Supplement, Canada Child Benefits, Canada Learning Bond, Canada Dental Plan as well as process Social Insurance Numbers on site. Support on Youth, Newcomer and Indigenous Services are also available

The Ignite Entrepreneurship Program is an 8-week program designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs with the skills, resources, and mindset to launch a successful business.
To be eligible you must be:
- Ontario Works recipient
- Between the ages of 18-59.
- Committed to starting a business and attend 8 weeks of program.
English Canadian Language Benchmark - Level 5 or 6 minimum.
Service Canada Representative will provide support for Employment Insurance, Canada Pension Plan (including Disability), Old Age Security, Guaranteed Income Supplement, Canada Child Benefits, Canada Learning Bond, Canada Dental Plan as well as process Social Insurance Numbers on site.
