This event offers participants a valuable opportunity to connect directly with educational institutions and community partners to explore educational opportunities and new career pathways.
Objective:
Participants will have the opportunity to engage one-on-one with representatives from colleges and community agencies during the event. This interactive space allows participants to explore specific programs, available services, and essential social supports in one convenient setting.
Participating agencies include: Humber Polytechnic, George Brown Polytechnic, Toronto District School Board (TDSB), World Education Services (WES), University of Toronto, Toronto Public Library, Service Canada, YMCA (The Jump), Skilled Trades Ontario, Miziwe Biik, PTP Adult Learning and Employment Programs and more...
In addition, there will be two (2) mini workshops; see details below:
- 10:00 am – Humber College: offers tuition-free Academic Upgrading (AU) program, funded by the Ontario government and travel support
- 10:45 am – Toronto District School Board (TDSB): Adult education and upgrading pathways
Together, these activities are designed to equip participants with the information, resources, and direct connections needed to make confident decisions about their educational and career goals.
