This Self-Care and Stress Management workshop for (IFF) Parents and Caregivers is hosted by Yorkgate Employment and Social Services (IIF) and will be co-facilitated by Toronto Public Health. 

During this session, you will learn about ways to reduce stress, positive coping strategies and available supports to help you and your family.



Objective:

During this workshop, you will gain awareness of healthy strategies to manage symptoms of stress and self-care, which will include the importance of sleep, nutrition and physical activity.  You will also increase your knowledge around organizing your day, identify healthy relationships, and understand the importance of seeking personal and professional support.

Participants will learn healthy strategies on how to:

• Manage stress

• Develop self-care practices

• Tips on organizing your day

• Develop healthy eating habits

• Be able to identify healthy relationships

• Understand the importance of seeking personal and professional support
