The University of Toronto's Temerty Faculty of Medicine, Office of Access, and Outreach will be hosting a virtual information session for High School Students (Grades 10-11) who are facing systemic barriers and have future aspirations for a career in the health sciences.
Objective:
- To explore careers in health sciences, gain practical experience, and connect with mentors.
- To bridge the gap between high school students facing systemic barriers in entering the health science careers
- To receive the tools, experiences, and mentorship they need to thrive
- Meet former participants, ask questions, and discover if this opportunity is right for them
