Across Boundaries: Culturally Appropriate Mental Health Care Program

This program is designed to support racialized clients who experience barriers; housing instability, systemic discrimination, persistent financial hardship, and may require mental health supports.

Program Eligibility:

• aged 18 and older
• history of long-term OW assistance
• experiencing mental health or addictions, trauma, and/or language/literacy barriers
• disconnection from the labour market

Participants will receive:

• frequent and flexible engagement based on each client’s readiness and goals
• holistic support for mental health, addictions, and life skills
• outreach and advocacy to remove systemic barriers and connect clients to appropriate services
• culturally responsive and trauma-informed care
