Sofia Mikhaylova

Sofia (Sofie) Mikhaylova graduated from Ryerson with a Bachelor of Journalism in 2015. Since then, she’s written for publications such as Vice, Mixmag, and more. In 2016, she went from throwing events with local DJs to creating independent record label Biblioteka Records, focused on releasing experimental electronic music from female, trans, and NB artists. Currently, Sofie is the editor of Dive Music Magazine, the Technical Director at Toronto New Wave Festival, and a 2019 Polaris Prize Juror.
