Origin
Summary
At the April meeting of Toronto and East York Community Council, amendments to parking regulations on Dufferin Park Avenue were aimed at improving parking availability for residents, visitors, and Park and Recreation staff. While the adopted parking regulations created additional on-street parking spaces, they also created unintended parking challenges on the north side of Dufferin Park Avenue, particularly for residents with accessible parking permits.
The recommendations below will correct these regulations and continue to support the goal of improving parking availability for this community.
