Community Council Decision

The Toronto and East York Community Council:

 

1. Re-opened Item TE5.51,  All-way stop controls around Secord Elementary School, with respect to Part 1 and Part 2 of the decision of the Toronto and East York Community Council.

 

2. Replaced Part 1 and 2 with the following:

 

1. Authorized compulsory stop controls for eastbound and southbound traffic at the intersection of Chisholm Avenue and Lumsden Avenue (north intersection).

 

2. Authorized compulsory stop controls for westbound and northbound traffic at the intersection of Chisholm Avenue and Lumsden Avenue (south intersection).

The purpose of this motion is to re-open and amend TE5.51 and approve removal of two stop signs that have caused confusion in determining who has the right-of-way among drivers and pedestrians.
