Community Council Decision
The Toronto and East York Community Council:
1. Appointed, at the pleasure of Council, the candidates listed below to the Ralph Thornton Community Centre Board of Management for the terms of office noted below, and until successors are appointed:
Dianne Surman, for a term of office ending June, 2022
Ryan Acayan, for a term of office ending June 2023
John Bradford, for a term of office ending June 2023
Caleb Edwards, for a term of office ending June 2023
Sree Nallamothu, for a term of office ending June, 2023
Heather Simpson, for a term of office ending June 2023
James Topham, for a term of office ending June 2023

Summary
The Board confirms that each of these nominees is qualified to serve under the provisions of the City of Toronto's Public Appointments Policy and the Relationship Framework for Community Centre Boards of Management. On behalf of the Board, I respectfully request that the City take the necessary steps to appoint these nominated candidates.
These appointments are a result of the following public member's terms coming to an end:
Christine Chen, resigned effective May 26, 2021.
Julia Peters, resigned effective October 20, 2021.
Alan Lennon, resigned effective October 20, 2021.
Shiralee Hudson Hill, resigned effective October 20, 2021.
