Nadia Junaid

Nadia Junaid, M.Ed. (OISE), has been a health promoter in Toronto for over 19 years. She worked as the HIV Prevention Coordinator at the Alliance for South Asian AIDS Prevention and played a key role in shaping the organization's programming and helping to solidify the women's prevention project. Nadia is a founding member of the South Asian Legal Clinic of Ontario, an organization that helps the most vulnerable members of the South Asian community. In 2014, she was recognized by her MPP with an International Women's Day Award for her work on women's issues.
