Board Decision
The Board of Management of Toronto Zoo:
1. Authorized the Director, Capital Program and Sustainability, or their designate to negotiate and execute a Construction Agreement with a qualified construction firm for Request for Proposals (RFP-12) for the Electrical Infrastructure Improvements for the Lantern Festival project at a purchase price as outlined in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (April 15, 2026) from the Director, Capital Program and Sustainability, Toronto Zoo, and revised in the closed session.
2. Authorized the public release of Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (April 15, 2026) from the Director, Capital Program and Sustainability, Toronto Zoo, as revised in the closed session, following the closing of any purchase transaction.

The Board of Management of the Toronto Zoo recessed its public session to meet in closed session to consider the item as it pertains to financial information, supplied in confidence to the Board of Management, Toronto Zoo, which, if disclosed, could reasonably be expected to prejudice significantly the competitive position or interfere significantly with the contractual or other negotiations of a person, group of persons, or organization.
