1. Granted the application for a fence exemption to the property owner of 511 Church Street, thereby allowing the existing fence to be maintained as constructed.

2. Directed that at such time when a replacement of the fence is required that such installation will comply with Municipal Code Chapter 447, Fences or its successor by-law.

Summary

The Applicant for 511 Church Street has requested Toronto and East York Community Council to exempt their property from the following by-law requirements:

City of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 447 Section 1.2.A(3) No sheet metal or corrugated metal panels shall be used in any fence.

The Applicant for 511 Church Street is requesting an exemption for their:

- Existing fence

- Average height of 2 Meters

- Constructed with corrugated metal panels

- A gate is positioned at the center of the south side, facing the alleyway

Municipal Licensing and Standards Division has inspected the subject property and issued a notice of violation of City of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 447 Section 1.2.A(3).
