The Toronto and East York Community Council:

1. Granted the application for a fence exemption to the property owner of 4 Wychwood Park, thereby allowing the existing fence to be maintained as constructed.

2. Directed that at such time when a replacement of the fence is required that such installation will comply with Municipal Code Chapter 447, Fences or its successor by-law.

Summary

The Applicant for 4 Wychwood Park has requested Toronto and East York Community Council to exempt their property from the following by-law requirements:

City of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 447 Section 1.2.B(1) fence in rear yard not to exceed 2.0 metres in height.

The Applicant for 4 Wychwood Park is requesting an exemption for their:

- Existing galvanized steel and wooden fence

- Rear fence – southern lot line fence at a height of 3.5 metres and at a length of 38.8 meters

- Entire southern lot line fence exceeds 2.0 metres in height

Municipal Licensing and Standards Division has inspected the subject property and issued a notice of violation of City of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 447 Section 1.2.B(1) fence in rear yard not to exceed 2.0 metres in height.

That:

1. Toronto and East York Community Council:

a. grant the application for a fence exemption to the property owner of 4 Wychwood Park, thereby allowing the existing fence to be maintained as constructed; and

b. direct that at such time when a replacement of the fence is required that such installation will comply with Municipal Code Chapter 447, Fences or its successor by-law.
