The Toronto and East York Community Council: 

 

1. Granted the application for a fence exemption to the property owner of 64 Castle Frank Crescent, thereby allowing the existing fence to be maintained as constructed.

  

2. Directed that at such time when a replacement of the fence is required that such installation will comply with Municipal Code Chapter 447, Fences or its successor by-law.

Summary

The Applicant for 64 Castle Frank Crescent has requested Toronto and East York Community Council to exempt their property from the following by-law requirements:

 

City of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 447 Section 1.2.B(1) fence in rear yard not to exceed 2.0 meters in height.

 

The Applicant for 64 Castle Frank Cres is requesting an exemption for their:

 

- Existing wood fence to remain

- Rear fence – Eastern fence on patio height of 2.66 metres at a length of 3.15 metres

- Rear fence – Eastern lot line fence height of 3.03 metres at a length of 4.5 metres

- Rear fence – Northern lot line fence height of 2.65 metres at a length of 9 metres

- Rear fence – Western lot line fence height of 2.49 metres at a length of 8 metres

- Rear fence – Western lot line fence #2 (Stone Planters) height of 2.78 meters at a length of 25 metres

 

Municipal Licensing and Standards Division has inspected the subject property and issued a notice of violation of City of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 447 Section 1.2.B(1) fence in rear yard not to exceed 2.0 metres in height.
