Summary

At the February 19, 2026, meeting of Toronto and East York Community Council, accessible parking spaces were approved at several locations, including a section of Gladstone Avenue. The original applicant of the accessible space on Gladstone Avenue has contacted my office to share that they instead need an accessible loading zone due to changing health needs. Transportation Services staff confirmed that the resident meets the requirements for an accessible loading zone at this location.

The recommendations below will amend our previous decision and approve the installation of an accessible loading zone for this resident.
