The Toronto and East York Community Council:

1. Re-opened Item TE25.42 titled "Accessible Parking Spaces - September 2025 (Delegated)”.

2. Amended its previous decision on Item 2025.TE25.42 by:

a. deleting the entries in Attachment 1 to the report (September 2, 2025) from the Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services, only as it pertains to the following locations:

Table 1: On-Street Accessible Parking Spaces to be Installed

Ward 9 Locations

Chudleigh Road, north side, between a point 59 metres east of Harvie Avenue and a point 5.5 meters further east

Morrison Avenue, north side, between a point 21 metres west of Dufferin Street and a point 5.5 metres further west, from the 1st day to the 15th day of each month, from April 1 to November 30, inclusive

Morrison Avenue, south side, between a point 28 metres west of Dufferin Street and a point 5.5 metres further west, from December 1 of one year to March 31 of the next following year, inclusive, and from the 16th day to the last day of each month, from April 1 to November 30, inclusive

b. adopt the following new entries to Attachment 1 to the report (September 2, 2025) from the Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services only as it pertains to the following locations:

Morrison Avenue, north side, between a point 21.5 metres west of Dufferin Street and a point 5.5 metres further west, from the 1st day to the 15th day of each month, from April 1 to November 30, inclusive

Morrison Avenue, south side, between a point 20 metres west of Dufferin Street and a point 5.5 metres further west, from December 1 of one year to March 31 of the next following year, inclusive, and from the 16th day to the last day of each month, from April 1 to November 30, inclusive

At the September 18, 2025 meeting of Toronto and East York Community Council, accessible parking spaces were approved on Chudleigh Road and Morrison Avenue. The accessible parking space on Chudleigh Street is not sufficient in length for the original applicant’s vehicle and, therefore, is no longer needed. The location of the accessible parking space on Morrison Avenue will be relocated to better meet the needs of the applicant.

As a year has not passed since the adoption of this item, a motion is required to re-open and rescind the installation of the above accessible parking spaces and approve the installation of the relocated accessible parking space on Morrison Avenue.
