City of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 447 1.2B(1) – Restrictions on Fences; Height.
The horizontal beam above the gate on the east side of the property has a height of 2.48 meters. This is higher than the allowable 2 meters.
Municipal Licensing and Standards Division has inspected the subject property and issued a notice of violation of City of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 447 1.2(B)(1).

That the Scarborough Community Council:
1. Grant a fence exemption permit to the property owner of 120 Donside Drive, for the horizontal beam above the gate on the east side of the property at a height of 2.48 meters as described in the summary of the report, and that at such time as replacement of the fence is required, the installation comply with Municipal Code Chapter 447, Fences, or its successor by-law.
