Summary

Lynn Road, Florens Avenue, and McIntosh Street are local residential streets in Ward 20 where residents have raised concerns about speeding and road safety.

The Councillor’s office conducted resident flyer drop surveys to better understand support for traffic calming. Strong community support for traffic calming was recorded for:

  • Lynn Road, between Cornell Avenue and Manderley Drive
  • Florens Avenue, between Herron Avenue and Pharmacy Avenue
  • McIntosh Street, between Park Street and Highview Avenue

The proposed speed humps are intended to reduce vehicle speeds, improve pedestrian safety, and create a calmer and safer street environment for residents, families, seniors, children, cyclists, and other road users.
