Community Council Decision
The Scarborough Community Council:
1. Authorized the installation of traffic calming (eight speed humps) on Flerimac Road, between Lawrence Avenue East and Megan Avenue, generally as shown in Attachments 1 and 2, Drawing No. TC-672 and TC-672-1, to the Letter (March 30, 2026) from Councillor Neethan Shan.
2. Subject to approval of Part 1 above, reduced the speed limit from 50 km/h to 30 km/h on Flerimac Road, between Lawrence Avenue East and Megan Avenue, in conjunction with the installation of speed humps.

Summary
This letter is a follow-up to the request of residents to implement speed humps on Flerimac Road. Staff have completed the necessary drawings for the installation of speed humps. Residents have petitioned our office and engaged all their neighbours who live on the affected street. The recommendations to install speed humps is another step towards the introduction of additional traffic calming measures in an area that has a need for increased traffic safety.
