Community Council Decision
The Scarborough Community Council:
1. Authorized the installation of traffic calming (five speed humps) on Fallingbrook Road, between Queen Street East and Windsor Avenue, generally as shown in Attachment 2, Drawing No. TC-633, dated January 2026 to the report (February 2, 2026) from the Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services.
2. Subject to approval of Part 1, above, Scarborough Community Council reduce the speed limit from 40 km/h to 30 km/h on Fallingbrook Road, between Queen Street East and Windsor Avenue.

Transportation Services has reviewed the need for speed humps Fallingbrook Road, between Queen Street East and Windsor Avenue. The assessment indicates the warrant criteria as set out in the Traffic Calming Policy has not been satisfied. Therefore, staff do not recommend the installation of speed humps on Fallingbrook Road.

Motions
That the Scarborough Community Council:
1. Authorize the installation of traffic calming (five speed humps) on Fallingbrook Road, between Queen Street East and Windsor Avenue, generally as shown in Attachment 2, Drawing No. TC-633, dated January 2026 from the Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services.
2. Subject to approval of Recommendation 1, above, Scarborough Community Council reduce the speed limit from 40 km/h to 30 km/h on Fallingbrook Road, between Queen Street East and Windsor Avenue.
