Community Council Decision

The Scarborough Community Council:

 

1. Authorized the installation of 10 traffic calming (speed humps) on Faircroft Boulevard, between Kingston Road and Balcarra Avenue/Pine Ridge Drive (south intersection), generally as shown in Attachment 2, Drawing Number TC-634, to the report (February 2, 2026) from the Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

 

Transportation Services is recommending the installation of speed humps on Faircroft Boulevard, between Kingston Road and Balcarra Avenue/Pine Ridge Drive (south intersection).  Staff's assessment indicates the criteria as set out in the Traffic Calming Policy has been satisfied. Therefore, speed humps should be installed on Faircroft Boulevard.
