a - Review Order Paper

March 25, 2026 at 10:32 a.m. - Speaker Nunziata advised Council of the following:

 

Members, I will now review the Order Paper. Once the Order Paper has been approved by Council, any change will need a two‑thirds vote.

 

The City Clerk has posted today's Order Paper online, with agenda item RM39.7 – Review of the Order Paper. If Council adopts any amendments to the Order Paper, they will also be posted with this item.

 

We have three deferred items before us today: Items NY28.6, deferred at the December Council meeting; NY29.4, deferred at the February 4 Council meeting and DM39.1, also deferred in December.

 

The Mayor has designated Item EX29.14 – “Cracking Down on Bad Landlords” as her first Key Matter and first item of business this morning.

 

The Mayor has designated Item MM39.59 – “Toronto Must Have a Say in Waterfront Decisions - by Deputy Mayor Ausma Malik, seconded by Mayor Olivia Chow” as her second Key Matter and second item of business today, subject to Council’s vote to waive referral on the item.

  

The Notice of Motion run through is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. tomorrow, only if the Mayor’s Key Matters are completed.

That City Council consider item GG27.14, Renewal of Various Boat Club Leases, as the first item after Member Motions on Day 2 of Council.


2 - Motion to Amend Item moved by Councillor Paula Fletcher (Carried)

That City Council consider item EX29.3, Update on Weston Foundation Donation for Queen's Park North Revitalization, as the first item following the Mayor's Second Key Matter on Day 1 of Council.

The City Clerk has posted today's Order Paper online, with agenda item RM39.7, Review of the Order Paper.

 

There are 111 Items left on the agenda, including 82 Member Motions.

 

Council has timed Item GG27.14 headed “Renewal of Various Boat Club Leases” as the first item of business following Member Motions this afternoon.

 

I will now take the release of holds. The Clerk will open the speakers list in CMP and you can place your name on the list if you have an item to release.
