Origin
Summary
This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.
Transportation Services is recommending that the operating times of the 15-minute maximum parking and stopping prohibition on the north side of Playfair Avenue in front of Regina Mundi Catholic School be amended. The proposed changes will align the operating times with the school's hours of operation. This will provide approximately 20 parking spaces with a three-hour maximum limit in the evening and weekends for after school events.
During the course of the investigation, it was noted that there are discrepancies between posted signs and the existing parking regulations. Recommendations 2, 3 and 4 will correct these inconsistencies.
