Community Council Decision
North York Community Council:
1. Prohibited parking from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., daily, on both sides of Bradgate Road, between Talwood Drive and the north end of Bradgate Road.
2. Prohibited parking from 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., daily, on both sides of Chatfield Drive, between Bradgate Road (northeast intersection) and Bradgate Road (southwest intersection).
3. Rescinded the winter maintenance parking prohibition in effect from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., December 1st to March 31st on Bradgate Road, between Talwood Drive and the north end of Bradgate Road.
4. Rescinded the winter maintenance parking prohibition in effect from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., December 1st to March 31st on Chatfield Drive, between Bradgate Road (northeast intersection) and Bradgate Road (southwest intersection).

Summary
Bradgate Road and Chatfield Drive are two local roads in the Don Mills Neighbourhood of Ward 16. Currently, parking is allowed on both roads with the city-wide 3-hour limit and North York snow removal by-laws in place.
Residents contacted my office with concerns of overnight parking all year round (12 a.m. to 6 a.m). After discussions and a poll, a majority of residents (approximately 70 percent) were in favour of prohibiting parking during these times. At the request of the community, I am making the following recommendations.

That North York Community Council amend Recommendations 1 and 2 by replacing "12:01 a.m." with "1:00 a.m." so that the recommendations read as follows:
1. North York Community Council prohibit parking from 12:01 a.m. 1:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., daily, on both sides of Bradgate Road, between Talwood Drive and the north end of Bradgate Road.
