Community Council Decision
North York Community Council:
1. Designated an on-street electric vehicle charging station parking area at the following location:
a. Duplex Avenue, east side, between a point 115.5 metres north of Finch Avenue West and a point 12 metres further north (2 spaces),
for the exclusive use of electric vehicles and amend City of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 910, Parking Machines, Parking Meters and Mobile Only Zones and Chapter 950, Traffic and Parking, as generally described in Attachment 2 of the report (April 13, 2026) from the Acting Director, Street Permits, Transportation Services.

This report outlines the parking by-law amendments required to implement one (1) Electric Vehicle (EV) charging location on Duplex Avenue, for the roll out of two (2) charging stations for which this Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. This location has been reviewed and supported by the local Councillor.
