North York Community Council:

 

1. Authorized the installation of traffic calming (3 speed humps) on Dalemount Avenue, between Madoc Drive and Shelborne Avenue, generally as shown in Attachment 2 to the report (January 30, 2026) from the Director, Enforcement and Street Management Transportation Services, Drawing Number TC-642, dated January 2026.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

 

Transportation Services is recommending the installation of speed humps on Dalemount Avenue, between Madoc Drive and Shelborne Avenue. Staff's assessment indicates the criteria as set out in the updated Traffic Calming Policy has been satisfied. Therefore, speed humps should be installed on Dalemount Avenue.
