Community Council Decision

North York Community Council:

 

1. Established a Board of Management for the Upper Avenue Business Improvement Area, consisting of nine (9) directors, and one (1) Councillor (Ward 8, Eglinton-Lawrence), for a total board size of ten (10), and make the necessary amendments to Schedule A of Municipal Code Chapter 19.

 

2. In accordance with the City's Public Appointments Policy, appointed the following nominees to the Upper Avenue Business Improvement Area  Board of Management set out below at the pleasure of North York Community Council, and for a term expiring at the end of the term of Council or as soon thereafter as successors are appointed:

 

            - Bricks, Andrea;

            - Bricks, Shari;

            - DaCosta, Zachary;

            - Fraser, Alex;

            - Lahey, Kevin;

            - Penuvchev, Andrew;

            - Siegal, Cathy;

            - Wiseman, Michael; and

            - Zadeh, Neda Mohammad.

Summary

The purpose of this report is to recommend that the North York Community Council establish a Board of Management for the Upper Avenue Business Improvement Area (BIA), appoint directors to that board and make necessary changes to Schedule A of the Municipal Code, Chapter 19.
