City Council on July 29 and 30, 2026, adopted the following:

1. City Council express its support for the findings and recommendations in the Notice of Issue of the Office of the Inspector General of Policing released on July 14, 2026, attached as Attachment 1 to this motion.

2. City Council forward a copy of this motion to the Toronto Police Service Board, the Solicitor General of Ontario, the Attorney General of Ontario and the Minister of Public Safety of Canada.
