City Council Decision
City Council on March 25 and 26, 2026, adopted the following:
1. City Council direct the General Manager, Transportation Services in consultation with the Executive Director, Corporate Real Estate Management, to complete the Neighbour Authorization Form by April 13, 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter, for the property owners of 53 Lake Shore Drive, in relation to their planned shoreline restoration work, and authorize the General Manager, Transportation Services in consultation with the Executive Director, Corporate Real Estate Management to enter into any other relevant authorization or Agreement as needed.

That Councillor Amber Morley be permitted to add to the agenda of today's meeting an urgent Motion without Notice concerning:
Authority to Provide a Neighbour Authorization Form to the Owners of 53 Lake Shore Drive for Shoreline Retaining Wall Construction
Reason for Urgency:
The Department of Fisheries has given the property owners of 53 Lake Shore Drive a late summer timeframe for when the shoreline work must be completed. If they cannot complete the work within that timeframe, they will not have another opportunity until 2027.
