Committee Decision
The Housing Rights Advisory Committee recommended that:
1. The Executive Director, Housing Secretariat, invite the Toronto Underhoused and Homeless Union (TUHU) to provide a presentation at the next meeting of the Supporting Unhoused Rights Holders Working Group and subsequently, at a future meeting of the Housing Rights Advisory Committee in 2026 on current issues they see impacting unhoused and precariously housed people.

Summary
The Chair of the Supporting Unhoused Rights Holders Working Group will provide an update and an overview of the group’s engagement with City staff on the outcomes advanced through the City’s Enhanced Outreach Model as part of its broader response to addressing encampments.
