Origin

(June 18, 2026) Report from the Director, Enforcement and Streets Management, Transportation Services

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

Transportation Services is recommending that the existing parking regulations on the west side of Cliveden Avenue, between Bloor Street West and a point 50.5 metres south, be amended to reflect current signage on site. As part of the proposed amendments, designating a no stopping area at the existing curb depression on the west side of Cliveden Avenue located approximately 37 metres south of Bloor Street West will deter parking at this location and will maintain ramp accessibility for patrons utilizing the accessible parking space.

During the course of the investigation, it was noted that the spelling of Cliveden Avenue was incorrect for some regulations. Recommendations 7 and 8 will correct these errors.
