Community Council Decision
The Etobicoke York Community Council:
1. Amended the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on both sides of Marquis Avenue between a point 45.5 metres south of Government Road and a point 65.5 metres south and east thereof to be in effect on the east and north side of Marquis Avenue between a point 45.5 metres south of Government Road and a point 65.5 metres south and east thereof.
2. Prohibited stopping in effect from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, on the east and north side of Marquis Avenue, between Government Road and a point 111 metres south and east thereof.
3. Prohibited parking on the west and south side of Marquis Avenue between a point 60 metres south of Government Road and a point 51 metres south and east thereof.

Summary
This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.
Transportation Services is recommending stopping be prohibited from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday on the east side of Marquis Avenue, opposite Lambton-Kingsway Junior Middle School. The proposed amendment will deter parking at this location during school hours and improve student pick-up/drop off safety.

Motions
That:
1. Etobicoke York Community Council amend Recommendation 1 by deleting "west and south" and replacing it with "east and north" so it reads as follows:

Etobicoke York Community Council amend the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on both sides of Marquis Avenue between a point 45.5 metres south of Government Road and a point 65.5 metres south and east thereof to be in effect on the west and south east and north side of Marquis Avenue between a point 45.5 metres south of Government Road and a point 65.5 metres south and east thereof.
2. Etobicoke York Community Council prohibit parking on the west and south side of Marquis Avenue between a point 60 metres south of Government Road and a point 51 metres south and east thereof.
