Community Council Decision

The Etobicoke York Community Council:

 

1. Authorized the installation of traffic calming (3 speed humps) on Woodstream Drive, between Humberwood Boulevard and Rexdale Boulevard, generally as shown in Attachment 2, Drawing Number TC-613, to the report (January 30, 2026) from the Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services.

 

2. Subject to approval of Part 1 above, reduced the speed limit from 50 km/h to 30 km/h on Woodstream Drive, between Humberwood Boulevard and Rexdale Boulevard, in conjunction with the installation of speed humps.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

 

Transportation Services is recommending the installation of speed humps on Woodstream Drive, between Humberwood Boulevard and Rexdale Boulevard. Staff's assessment indicates the criteria as set out in the Traffic Calming Policy has been satisfied. Therefore, speed humps should be installed on Woodstream Drive.
