Deputy Mayor Ausma Malik recommends that the Board of Governors of Exhibition Place:

1. Applaud and extend congratulations to Mr. Andrew Landrigan for successfully achieving the Certified Venue Professional designation from the International Association of Venue Managers and being the first employee to receive this designation at Exhibition Place.

An Exhibition Place employee is recognized by the Board for a recent outstanding accomplishment. Andrew Landrigan, Manager-Event Services successfully earned and was presented with his Certified Venue Professional (CVP) designation on August 9th, 2026 at the IAVM Awards Ceremony in Indianapolis. It takes a dedicated person to complete their CVP and Andrew Landrigan, CEM, CVP is the first employee at Exhibition Place to earn this designation.

The Certified Venue Professional (CVP) designation is a distinguished credential that recognizes an individual who has demonstrated operational competence and a deep commitment to the advancement of the venue Management Industry. The CVP designation signifies those venue professionals who have continued to strive for excellence, innovation, and professional growth within venue management. Candidates of the CVP program must also meet compatible experience requirements and successfully complete a comprehensive examination covering the core principles of venue management. A CVP is a distinguished credential and title and assures clients in our very competitive industry that they can be confident you and your team are well prepared to consistently deliver exceptional events.
