The Board of Governors of Exhibition Place:

1. Approved the award of Contract No. 88033-26 (RFT No. EP104-2026) to Triumph Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc. of Toronto, Ontario for the roof replacement at the Horse Palace East roof and the Vehicle Maintenance Garage in the amount of $3,818,063.00 which includes a separate price of $215,885.00 for Vehicle Maintenance Garage metal siding replacement and a cash allowance of $25,000.00 but excludes HST; this being the lowest compliant tender submission received following the public tendering of the project.

This report recommends approving a contract with Triumph Roofing & Sheet Metal Inc. of Toronto, Ontario for the Horse Palace East Roof Replacement and Vehicle Maintenance Garage Roof Replacement project. The tender for this contract was issued on March 3, 2026, through the Exhibition Place Purchasing and Materials Stores via the Bonfire Online Procurement System, and the recommendation is to award the contract to the lowest compliant bidder meeting tender requirements and specifications within the available budget.

This project is time‑sensitive, as the existing roofing systems have reached the end of their service life and are experiencing ongoing leaks. To prevent further deterioration and interior damage, the roof replacements should proceed as soon as possible.
