That City Council amend the Recommendation by deleting the words "including discounted fare policies and removing passengers fees" and "through the 2027 budget process on the results of the review, including recommendations and financial impacts", and adding the words "in the second quarter of 2027 with the Toronto Island Park Master Plan update" after the words "and report", so that it now reads as follows:
1. City Council direct the City Manager, the Deputy City Manager, Corporate Services, in consultation with the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer and the Deputy City Manager, Community and Emergency Services, to explore potential options to reduce financial barriers to accessing the Toronto Islands, including discounted fare policies and removing passenger fees, and report in the second quarter of 2027 with the Toronto Island Park Master Plan update through the 2027 budget process on the results of the review, including recommendations and financial impacts.
