City Council Decision
City Council on March 25 and 26, 2026, adopted the following:
1. City Council authorize the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer to make the necessary adjustments to the 2026 Non-Program Expenditure Budget and Operating Budgets for Toronto Fire Service to reflect the provisions of the interest arbitration award as set out in Attachment 1 to the report (March 16, 2026) from the City Manager and the Interim Chief People Officer.
2. City Council direct that Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (March 16, 2026) from the City Manager and the Interim Chief People Officer remain confidential in its entirety, as it contains advice which is about labour relations or employee negotiations.
Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (March 16, 2026) from the City Manager and the Interim Chief People Officer remains confidential in its entirety in accordance with the provisions of the City of Toronto Act, 2006, as it contains advice that is about labour relations or employee negotiations.
