City Council Decision
City Council on February 4, 2026, adopted the following:
1. City Council authorize the extension of the hours of alcohol sales and service in the City of Toronto to begin at 6:00 a.m. between February 5 and February 22, 2026, to allow the public and local cafes and restaurants to enjoy and benefit from the 2026 Milano Cortina Winter Olympics.
2. City Council authorize the City Solicitor to introduce a by-law substantially as set out in Appendix 1 to the report (February 3, 2026) from Mayor Olivia Chow.
