Board Decision

The Board of Management of the Toronto Zoo:

1. Authorized the Director, Capital Program and Sustainability, or her designate, to negotiate the award and enter into a Construction Agreement with a qualified construction firm for the Red Panda Climate Controlled Viewing project at a purchase price as outlined in Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (July 16, 2025) from the Director, Capital Program and Sustainability, Toronto Zoo.

2. Authorized the public release of Confidential Attachment 1 to the report (July 16, 2025) from the Director, Capital Program and Sustainability, Toronto Zoo, following the closing of any purchase transaction.
