Community Council Decision
The Toronto and East York Community Council:
1. Designated on-street electric vehicle charging station parking areas at the following locations:
a. Browning Avenue, north side, from a point 33.9 metres east of Carlaw Avenue and a point 12 metres further east (2 spaces);
b. Hallam Street, north side, from a point 35.3 metres west of Concord Avenue and a point 12 metres further west (2 spaces); and
c. Humberside Avenue, north side, from a point 35 metres west of Mavety Street and a point 12 metres further west (2 spaces),
for the exclusive use of electric vehicles.
2. Amended City of Toronto Municipal Code Chapter 950, Traffic and Parking, as generally described in Attachment 2 to the report (November 4, 2025) from the Director, Policy, Data and Strategic Initiatives, Transportation Services.

This report outlines the parking by-law amendments required to implement three (3) Electric Vehicle (EV) charging locations on Humberside Avenue, Hallam Avenue and Browning Avenue, for the roll out of six (6) charging stations for which this Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision. These locations have been reviewed and supported by the local Councillors.
