Community Council Decision

The Toronto and East York Community Council:

 

1. Rescinded the existing parking prohibition in effect at all times on the north side of Melinda Street, between Yonge Street and a point 35 metres west.

 

2. Prohibited standing at all times on the north side of Melinda Street, between Yonge Street and a point 35 metres west.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

 

Transportation Services is recommending that the existing parking prohibition on the north side of Melinda Street, west of Yonge Street, be increased to a standing prohibition.  The proposed amendment will further deter parking on this section of roadway which will provide unobstructed access to the One King West Hotel and Residence.
