Community Council Decision

The Toronto and East York Community Council:

 

1.  Re-opened Item TE17.55, entitled “Parking Amendments - Nursewood Road” with respect to Part 5 of the decision of Toronto and East York Community Council.

 

2.  Deleted Part 5 of its decision with respect to Item TE17.55 and adopt the following new Recommendations:

 

1. Toronto and East York Community Council rescind the existing permit parking regulation in effect from 12:01 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. daily on the odd (east) side of Nursewood Road, from 235 metres south of Queen Street East to Queen Street East.

 

2. Toronto and East York Community Council authorize parking by permit only to be in effect from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. daily on the odd (east) side of Nursewood Road, from the south end of Nursewood Road to Queen Street East.

Summary

My office has received ongoing concerns from residents on Nursewood Road regarding traffic and parking challenges on their street. To help alleviate these issues and better support residents, I am requesting an extension of permit parking hours to prioritize residential parking and improve accessibility for those who live in the area.
