Community Council Decision

The Scarborough Community Council:

 

1. Established a Board of Management for the Cedarbrae Markham Lawrence Business Improvement Area, consisting of six (6) directors, one (1) vacancy, and one (1) Councillor (Ward 24, Scarborough-Guildwood), for a total board size of eight (8), and make the necessary amendments to Schedule A of Municipal Code Chapter 19.        

 

2. In accordance with the City's Public Appointments Policy, appointed the following nominees to the Cedarbrae Markham Lawrence Business Improvement Area Board of Management set out below at the pleasure of Scarborough Community Council, and for a term expiring at the end of the term of Council or as soon thereafter as successors are appointed:

 

  Doman, Judy

  Patel, Zakir

  Sari, Sonia

  Sehgal, Rubina

  Sweetland, Vonny

  Vora, Sandip

Summary

The purpose of this report is to recommend that the Scarborough Community Council establish a Board of Management for the Cedarbrae Markham Lawrence Business Improvement area (BIA), appoint directors to that board and make necessary changes to Schedule A of the Municipal Code, Chapter 19.
