Community Council Decision

The Scarborough Community Council recommends that:

 

1. Authorized the installation of speed humps on Pebblewood Avenue, between Middlefield Road and Ingleton Boulevard.

 

2. Directed the City Solicitor to prepare a by-law to alter the roadway for the installation of two speed humps on Pebblewood Avenue, between Middlefield Road and Ingleton Boulevard, generally as shown on Attachment 2, Drawing TC-594 to the report (October 3, 2025) from the Director, Enforcement and Street Management, Transportation Services.

Summary

This staff report is about a matter that Community Council has delegated authority from City Council to make a final decision.

 

Transportation Services is recommending the installation of speed humps on Pebblewood Avenue, between Middlefield Road and Ingleton Boulevard. Staff's assessment indicates the criteria as set out in the Traffic Calming Policy has been satisfied. Therefore, speed humps should be installed on Pebblewood Avenue.
