a - Review Order Paper

October 8, 2025 at 10:08 a.m. - Speaker Nunziata advised Council of the following:

 

Members, I will now review the Order Paper. Once the Order Paper has been approved by Council, any change will need a two‑thirds vote.

 

The City Clerk has posted today's Order Paper online, with agenda item RM33.7 – Review of the Order Paper. If Council adopts any amendments to the Order Paper, they will also be posted with this item.

 

We have two deferred items before us today: Items DM331. and DM33.2, deferred from the July meeting of City Council.

 

The Mayor has designated Item IE24.13 headed “Optimizing the Automated Speed Enforcement Program to Stop Speeding” as her first Key Matter and first item of business today. 

 

The Mayor has designated Item CC33.1 headed “Expanding Toronto Community Crisis Response to the Toronto Transit Commission” as her second Key Matter and first item of business tomorrow. 

 

The Notice of Motion run through is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. tomorrow, only if the Mayor’s Key Matters are completed.

 

Members, with the Mayor's consent, I would propose that the Mayor’s First Key Matter be considered together with Items IE24.4 and MM33.2, both relating to Automated Speed Enforcement, if Council votes to waive referral on the Member Motion.

 

The Mayor gave her consent to join the items.


Motion to Amend Item moved by Councillor Stephen Holyday (Carried)

That, with the Mayor's consent, City Council consider the following items together with the Mayor's first key matter and Items IE24.2 and MM33.2:

 

Item SC25.31 - Kingston Road - Community Safety Zone; and

 

Item TE25.65 - Establishing a Community Safety Zone on Dovercourt Road, between College Street and Dundas Street West.

 

The Mayor have her consent to join the items.

That City Council consider item NC22.2 - Appointment of Public Members and Tenant Directors to the Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation Board of Directors as the first item following the Mayor's second key matter on Thursday, October 9, 2025.

Council has timed Item NC22.2 headed “Appointment of Public Members and Tenant Directors to the Toronto Seniors Housing Corporation Board of Directors” as the second item of business this morning.
