City Council on December 17 and 18, 2024, adopted Item PH17.7 and, in so doing, has requested the Board of Directors of CreateTO to request the Chief Executive Officer, CreateTO, and the Board of Directors of Toronto Community Housing Corporation to request the Chief Executive Officer of Toronto Community Housing Corporation to work with the Executive Director, Housing Secretariat, to incorporate affordable and attainable housing in appropriate future housing development projects on public lands to be made available on a leasehold basis.
